The cameras are NOT active or recording while the guests are in the apartment with a deactivated alarm. When activated, this device ensures safety of the apartment and guest's belongings while they are outside of the apartment. There is also a noise detector, which is NOT recording and its only function is to detect very high levels of noise, which helps to prevent any possible issues with neighbors in case of inappropriate behavior in the apartment.
