Please note that payment is required upon check-in. Kindly note that the property cannot process payments from American Express credit cards, and an alternative card will be required. The name of the guest must match the name on the credit card used at the time of booking and payment. The property is unable to accept third-party credit cards. To get to us from Folkestone Central: When leaving the station, turn right and traverse towards the bus stop. Continue past it towards the roundabout and turn right onto Shorncliffe Road. The college will be on your right, opposite the access junction to Earl’s Avenue A259, turn onto this road until the hotel comes into view. To get to us from Folkestone Central: Leaving by any exit, you’ll want to navigate to Shorncliffe Road and traverse in an easterly direction. The college will be on your left, opposite the access junction to Earl’s Avenue A259, turn onto this road until the hotel comes into view. All our rooms are non-smoking. One smoker will be requested to pay GBP 300 towards restoring the room. Noise rules: we expect guests to lower decibels as follows: Weekdays, 23–6:00. Weekends and bank holidays: 12:00–8:00. Dogs: Dogs are welcome in the hotel. Small double rooms are not suitable. We recommend an executive suite or a twin room at the time of booking. Call the hotel at 01303245166 to arrange this. Dogs are welcome in our public areas but must always remain on a lead. Guests must bring their own equipment to care for the dog. Parking: Free parking is available for hotel and restaurant guests. Any parking outside of these parameters is chargeable at GBP 20 per day. Street parking is subject to availability. Any cars parked on the street are at the owners’ own risk. Wards Hotel will not accept any responsibility for lost or damaged vehicles, either in the car park or on the street. Feel free to call the hotel to inquire. Children: The Wards Hotel is family-friendly, however, parents or guardians are expected to supervise children during their stay. We do not take responsibility for children or babysit. Extra beds/Cots are available but must be requested prior to arrival. There will be no facility available for setup once the guests have arrived. Extra beds are GBP 15 per bed, and a travel cots are GBP 12.50 per night. Opening hours: we are open between 8:00–00:00 in high season. It is likely that the hotel will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays from October through April. Due to the increased cost of living, if there are no customers present in the Restaurant/Bar in the evening, these facilities will close early. Check-out is at 11:00 Late check-out costs GBP 20 per hour without prior arrangement and is payable at check-out. Early check-in and bag drop may be available with prior arrangements. These are free of charge. Late check-in is available with prior arrangement. Check-ins after midnight will incur a charge of GBP 20, payable upon arrival. Check-ins between the hours of 1:00–7:00 will incur a charge of GBP 50, payable in advance of check-in. Refunds and compensations: Please read all policies and check with management prior to booking. Once the booking is made, payment will be collected, and we do not give refunds nor compensation. Should you have difficulties during your stay, you must inform management at the earliest possible time. Abuse of staff, property, and other guests is not tolerated at this hotel. Please note that we do not tolerate abuse of any kind. We may ask you to leave immediately. We will call the police if we deem it appropriate. We do not discriminate against gender, race, colour, class, religion, political preferences, or lifestyle preferences. We accept all guests who can pay for their stay in advance and who comply with our policies. Garden and communal facilities are available. Breakfast is available between 7:30–9:30. on weekdays and 8:00 and 10:00. on weekends and bank holidays. If breakfast is not included in your booking rate, it can be included for GBP 12 per person, payable either in advance or at breakfast. Vegetarian and vegan breakfasts are available. Our breakfast is a plated service; there is no facility for buffets. Any abuse of the breakfast staff will be reported to the authorities, and the abusers will be ejected from the premises. Bicycles, scooters, wheelchairs, prams, and push chairs are not accepted inside the bedroom or corridors. These can be parked in the function room with appropriate locks. Wards Hotel does not take responsibility for these. These are health and safety hazards.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.
