Brighton House is a 200-year-old, listed building and has the stairs to confirm this! As we don't have a lift, we advise anyone who has difficulty with stairs to take this into consideration before booking.

Important Information

This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please inform Brighton House in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. Cancellation Rooms cancelled after midday three days prior to arrival will be charged in full unless the hotel is able to resell the accommodation. For rooms cancelled prior to the cancellation deadline (or where the hotel has successfully resold the room) deposits will be retained and may be redeemed against future bookings for a period of 6 months from date of cancellation. Access Guests have 24 hours access to their rooms but reception does close at 8pm. The hotel does not have a lift and accommodation on the 3rd or 4th floor may not be suitable for non-ambulatory persons. Children & Groups Unfortunately, our guest house is unable to cater for children under the age of 12. For the consideration of other guests, our guest house does not accept any groups such as stag & hen parties, but not limited to. Any group bookings made at Brighton House will get cancelled at no cost to the guest house. The property does not accept any groups including bachelor/bachelorette/birthday parties. If any group bookings are made over two rooms, the Brighton House reserves the right to cancel your booking and any relocation costs will be down to the guest.
